Magnolia Chicken Contract Growing

Magnolia Chicken offers opportunities for contract growing to agri-entrepreneurs. An agreement will be made between San Miguel Foods, Inc. and the business partner for the growing of broiler chicks to produce grown broilers at a marketable size, at the right volume, and at the right time. Quality standards must be met at the least possible cost and income can be derived from farm production efficiencies through harvest recovery, average live weight, and feed conversion ratio.

Grower’s undertakings

Agricultural land


  • Minimum of one (1) hectare
  • Must be within an agricultural zone / agro-industrial zone
  • One (1) km away from nearest residential area
  • One (1) km away from nearest poultry/livestock farm and related operation
  • Within 80km radius from nearest SMFI-operated processing plant
  • Reliable source of electricity and potable water


Production houses


  • Controlled Climate System, Auto Feeding and Drinking Equipment, Power and Water Supply and Distribution System
  • Support Facilities
